Best of Breckenridge

While in Colorado we made the very last minute decision  to visit Breckenridge. I can’t even express how stunning even the drive was, we pulled over multiple times to take in the views.

We happened to visit Breckenridge during a bit of a snow storm so we didn’t do much hiking and focused more on exploring the area. We did however get lucky enough to drive to Sapphire Point and spent quite some time walking around admiring Lake Dillion. What an absolutely stunning view. Words can’t even describe how incredible it was. This was the perfect little weekend trip while visiting Denver and Colorado Springs.

Where To Stay

I am nervous to even add the link because I don’t want to share such an amazing location with others and have it booked next time I want to visit! Click here.

We stayed in a Ski Studio through Airbnb right downtown Breckenridge and it was so perfect. The hosts Joel & Sandra were so accommodating and we couldn’t have stayed there forever if we could have. The kitchen allowed us to make snacks, it was walking distance to everywhere and so cozy!

Sapphire Point

Even with the snow, we did get lucky enough to drive to Sapphire Point and spend some time walking around admiring Lake Dillion. What an absolutely stunning view. Words can’t even describe how incredible it was. I would say this is a MUST SEE!

Cabin Coffee Co.

Short and sweet. Great coffee, very kind and helpful employees, and great experience. Perfect for dinning in or even grabbing for your walk around the area!

The Blue Stag Saloon

For our last night in town we started with a drink at Blue Stag Saloon. The bartenders were great, I had a Hot Toddy and Keaton had a local beer, Avalanche Amber Ale. They have a great happy hour as well that we would have liked to try but it didn’t happen. Next time!

Flipside

We headed to Flipside for dinner and sat downstairs right near a TV for the game which was perfect. Servers are great, the food was so yummy and filling! They have homemade corn dogs that were out of this world. My only complaint is that it was very chilly so bring a jacket.

Downstairs at Erics

We stopped by for food while walking around, it was fine. A lot of people reccomended it so may just be more of a tourist spot. Lively environment but just bar food and not the friendliest of servers or covid safety in the arcade area.
